8th Grade Promotion

We will be hosting an in person 8th Grade Promotion on June 4th. We will be holding two ceremonies (to be able to adhere to safety guidelines) and including all our 8th grade students, including those enrolled in IVA, in one of these celebrations. Please note that we will be limiting spectators to two per student. We are also planning to either record and post, or live stream the event. This event is optional for students and families to attend. More information will be sent out once finalized.

CAASPP Testing Waived

IUSD will not be administering the SBAC and CAST Assessments this year. We will be using STAR Renaissance Reading and Math for reporting purposes and data collection. Students have already completed their last administration of STAR Reading – scores are available through your student’s SchoolCity account.

7th Grade Elective Registration

We will be reviewing how to register for 8th grade electives with our 7th grade students through Homeroom. This information will be sent home next week.

Bell Schedule

We are in the process of finalizing a common middle school bell schedule for next year. The high schools are also planning on a common high school bell schedule. Once finalized, we will be sharing this with all families. It is our goal to ensure that all students have time in their schedule to get what they need!
