Neon/Under the Sea Dance
On Friday, April 19th, 2019, South Lake’s ASB will be sponsoring a dance for South Lake students ONLY. The theme for our second school dance of the year, Neon/Under the Sea , is in celebration of the spring season. Students are welcome to wear anything that they would like as long as it is school appropriate! South Lake’s Multi-Purpose Room will be filled with thematic decor and backdrops to get students in the mood for fun. There will be something for everyone including a professional D.J., food stands, snacks and games! Please read the following information and behavior expectations carefully, and get ready to have fun!
LOCATION: South Lake Middle School, Multi-Purpose Room (MPR)
TIME: Friday, April 19th, 2019 from 5-7pm
Once inside the dance area, no one will be allowed to leave and re-enter. Parents or guardians will be expected to pick students up within fifteen minutes (7:15 PM) after the dance ends.
PRICE: $5.00 for pre-sale tickets, $7.00 for at the door tickets
Tickets are to be purchased at school during the designated sale period, which is from Monday April 8th to Friday April 12th . If a student wishes to wait and purchase his/her ticket at the door, the price will increase to $7.00, and you must have a parent signature. NO REFUNDS. CLICK HERE FOR A COPY OF THE PERMISSION SLIP.
BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS:

STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR STUDENT ID AND PRESENT THEM UPON ENTERING.

After arrival, students must remain until the dance ends unless they have a signed note from a parent.

Students may not use and/or purchase another student’s dance ticket.

Students who are absent the day of the dance will not be allowed to attend.

Refreshments will be on sale outside. All food/drink must stay outside.

South Lake’s STUDENT BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS and DRESS CODE are still in effect.

Inappropriate behavior at the dance (before, during, or after) could result in the loss of future dance or end of year privileges.
PURCHASING TICKETS:
Parents or guardians must sign the permission slip printed below. Please enclose the permission slip and $5.00 (cash or check payable to South Lake ASB) in an envelope with both the student’s name and homeroom teacher’s name written on the outside.
