Dear South Lake 8th Grade Families,
We’re excited for our upcoming end-of-the-year field trip to Wild Rivers Water Park on Thursday, June 5th! Please review the important details below to ensure a smooth and fun day for all students.
Arrival & Check-In
Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from Wild Rivers.
Please arrive at Wild Rivers (10000 Great Park Blvd, Irvine, CA 92618) by 10:00 AM.
Students will meet outside of the main gates and check in with their homeroom teacher.
This check-in is critical for taking attendance and distributing tickets.
Entering the Park
At 10:30 AM, once the gates open, students will enter the park as a group.
After entering, students may explore the attractions freely.
Supervision & Support
South Lake staff will be stationed in a designated area (marked on the map provided).
Wild Rivers will also be fully staffed to assist as needed.
Departure & Check-Out
All students must check out with their homeroom teacher at 4:00 PM in the designated check-out area inside the park.
If your child is:
Leaving before 4:00 PM: You must complete the [Google Form] and your child must check out with Ms. Granger in the designated check-out area before leaving.
Staying past 4:00 PM: Please also complete the [Google Form] and ensure your child still checks out with their homeroom teacher at 4:00 PM.
Reminders
Students should wear a swimsuit suitable for water slides and water rides.
Please apply sunscreen before arriving and pack extra to reapply throughout the day.
Bring a towel and any other personal items at your own risk—we are not responsible for any lost or broken items.
All school rules remain in effect during the field trip.
