South Lake Community, You Rock!
Based on all the smiles, laughter, and fun we saw yesterday, the Color Run was an absolute success! A huge thank you to our amazing families for showing up in full support, our dedicated parents who volunteered, Coach Doan for organizing such a fantastic day, Mr. Edgar for his help with everything, and our incredible staff who made the day happen. Special thanks to O’Donnell Real Estate for providing water and snacks, our ASB, PTSA, and, of course, our amazing Sharks! You all make South Lake a truly special place, and there’s no other community we’d rather be part of!
A BIG shoutout to Principal Averill, who goes above and beyond to ensure the best interests of both students and staff are always at the heart of everything she does. She’s an exceptional leader and knows how to have fun with the students too! We’re so lucky to have both her and Ms. Granger leading the way, especially when the students get to have fun with them on Color Run Day! See picture below...
We’re so close to our goal—just $5K left! With only 3 days remaining in our Color Run fundraiser, we need all the support we can get. Donating is quick and easy on Pledgestar, and every bit helps support ALL our students this school year!
If you prefer to donate by check or cash instead of registering, you can drop it off at the front office or send it with your student. Please make checks payable to "South Lake PTSA” and include “Color Run” in the memo line. Don’t forget to write your student’s name and the donation amount on the outside of the envelope. If sending cash, please write the student’s name and donation amount on the front of the envelope. I’ll make sure they get registered on Pledgestar and earn credit for prizes, homeroom competitions, and our grand prize goal!
